ThermaBuild homes are built using a TRUSS HOUSE™ framing system — a structurally superior method of house framing that replaces conventional stud-and-beam construction with pre-engineered TRUSS HOUSE™ frames.
These portal frames:
- Are factory-engineered to precise specifications before arriving on site
- Are erected rapidly, significantly reducing on-site construction time
- Create large, clear-span internal spaces free from load-bearing internal walls

TRUSS HOUSE™ is a trademark of Trussed Systems Limited, who own the intellectual property, with granted patents in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Ireland and Canada. The system is engineered by Pryda (ITW), the leading truss and frame specialist across New Zealand and Australia, who hold the exclusive licence to design and certify structures built on the TRUSS HOUSE™ patented system with consent-ready PS1 documentation. Frames for our homes are precision-manufactured by licensed partners including Pohutukawa Frame & Truss (PFTL).
